Kuraray has developed a unique fine chemical business based on a variety of applications of isoprene, a component of rubber.  We currently produce over 30 different aroma chemicals including linalool (lily of the valley aroma) and citral (lemon aroma), as well as raw materials for cosmetics, such as base oils.  We also produce aroma chemicals for use in hair care products.
